When I got the invitation for the event, I immediately asked Mr P for the afternoon off to view a potential venue for some upcoming meetings. While it’s true that I was treated to a show round of &Meetings’ stylish Fleet Street property’s 10 meeting spaces, I may have left out the small detail that my fellow PAs and I would also enjoy some luxurious pampering. Don’t ask, don’t tell, right?

Pampered we were, indeed. Our hosts provided us with a selection of delicious sandwiches and canapés to suit meat-eaters and veggies alike (a sample of what’s on offer for events at the venue). Plus, there was champagne on arrival and a never-ending supply of refills.

While I was waiting for the tour, I had my nails painted by one of the ladies from Elysium Spa. Later, I had my face refreshed for the evening by a makeup artist and got a relaxing shoulder massage. I’m picky about my locks so I skipped the hairdresser, but the work she did on the other PAs was fantastic.

If you haven’t been to the &Meetings venue, it’s certainly worth a look – check it out at andmeetings.com. The stunning lobby even comes complete with a Formula One racecar – perfect for those laddish execs. Well, we all know how much boys love their toys!
